What is 'TickIT'?
TickIT is an initiative that was started originally by the UK Department of Trade and Industry to raise the standard of software produced by the information technology sector in the UK. What is a 'Moodle'?
Moodle is a software product that provides a virtual learning environment. Hillside Software uses Moodle to deliver online training and awareness material for use in courses, workshops and distance learning.
Does Hillside Software certify organisations?
No. We are not a certification body. We provide consultants who help organisations design and implement management systems that are appropriate for the business and comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 (previously BS 7799-2) requirements. However, we can guide organisations through the process of being formally certified, and have successfully assisted many organizations in this way. Do you run in-house training courses?
Yes. Most of our courses can be delivered in-house and customised to meet customer requirements. For example, many of our larger customers find it useful to have our auditing courses customised to reflect their own working practices rather than be based on a 'generic' management system.
Do you run training courses outside the UK?
Yes. However, the courses can only be delivered in English.
Can I pay training course fees in Euro instead of Pounds Sterling?
Of course. When making a course booking, please specify the currency to be used.
